A method-kit for interdisciplinary research at the Charité
In a time when there is a growing need for innovation and interactions across disciplinary boundaries, we need a new generation of scientists who are able to rise with the challenges of our times. Therefore the BSRT in cooperation with the Hasso Plattner Institute (HPI) in Potsdam developed BioThinking, a worldwide unique program using Design Thinking as an innovation driver in biomedical sciences. Design Thinking is a methodology for innovation that combines creative and analytical approaches, and requires collaboration across disciplines. Within the Bio Thinking programme of the BSRT, we am developing methods and tools for the co-operation of interdisciplinary research teams.
