Product development in the biotechnology sector

We were commissioned by a major pharmaceutical company to develop new products and solutions for the telemedicine sector. The project was conducted by an interdisciplinary team and led by an iterative design process between research and product development. Through an 18 month co-creation process with patients and healthcare practitioners, we developed product prototypes guided by qualitative research and monitoring. The prototypes stayed with the patients at their homes or work places. Through ongoing interaction and interventions we triggered insights that were immediately used to design the product and user experience. We focused on gaining a deeper understanding of the relationships between people and mobile technology in terms of trust, privacy, personalisation and wearable technology.
